You can only get SSP sickness benefits if you are in employment earning £111 a week or more and unable to attend work due to illness. It doesn't get paid if you are not in employment and earning above this lower earnings limit. It is paid to you by your employer instead of a salary and they claim it back from HM Revenue and customs.

if your daughter is not in employment or not earning enough she may want to see if she qualifies for PIP or personal independence payment.

gov.uk/pip is the website and there is a link on there to check if she would possibly qualify and what level of payment she might be awarded. PIP is very hard to qualify for and it certainly won't be made easy to claim for anyone with disabilities. There will be a lot of form filling and interviews etc to even be considered for these PIP benefits.

Try DLA lots of forms to fill in but it sounds like she would qualify for at least lower rate care & mobility. They usually assess on how much care & help you need, what tasks you cannot do ect. As Impatient said, check out gov.uk as they have a benefits calculator which will give you an idea. Good luck x

Maybe but you're on the wrong platform, there is an asthma society if you go on communities and find asthma. This is the wrong platform and you're question is hard to answer properly as non of us know what she would be able to get having not suffered with it ourselves. This is about endometriosis not asthma but what impatient has replied with should help.
