Devices to stimulate brain recovery

Hi, has anyone tried any devices to stimulate brain recovery? I saw an ad of Neurosym on Facebook: nurosym.com/products/nurosym

I wonder how much that could help? I would be keen to hear others' opinions.

Are there any other methods that you implemented and saw good results? I mean specifically anything beyond traditional rehabilitation.

Thank you

Vagus nerve stimulators are effective, generally speaking, but they are obviously not a viable cost-effective option for the poorest of patients. Like me haha

In UK they are used by NHS for people with severe epilepsy and they are hugely effective in reducing seizure activity.

TENS machines/devices sound similar and are a lot cheaper. I use a TENS device on my spine and joints for pain relief. It may help. Read the information carefully before buying. Mine say do not use on the head or genitals. I have used mine on my neck OK.

Here is a link to the Amazon page: amazon.co.uk/s?k=tens+machi...

You could contact the Enc. Soc. directly to get an opinion. I can't see that using a cheaper TENS device on the lowest setting would cause a problem.

Read the Nurosym pages in full before taking further steps.

"Our latest research data also suggests Nurosym improves learning and short-term memory and cognition."

"Inflammation throughout the body and brain contributes to diseases development, progression, ageing and mental health problems.

Cytokines are the main biomarkers (measures) of inflammation in the body.

In a randomised controlled trial, inflammatory cytokines were significantly lower in the group that received Nurosym neuromodulation compared to the placebo group at the end of 3 months."

Best Wishes, G2
