So further along now with recovery. Still on a multitude of medication . But after such a long time my wife gave birth to our little boy. Maybe crazy for going back to the start but will be worth it again, something to focus on as for the last week I have traveled by bus 4 times a day just to be at the hospital. Even sleeping on a chair on lead up to labour beside her, Even though all is good. She showed up daily for me when I was in with hsv encephalitis . It is the least I can do . Plus I get to see my wee guy , next goal is to try get the medication doses down . What can I say . I am proud as can be .

I recently became an aunt. Although I can’t hold him (movement disorder makes it too dangerous), it is lovely to witness new life in the midst of my own suffering ❤️‍🩹
