Update to recovery

Well after the failed restaurant attempt as it was really to busy and sounded like a day at the races noise wise, on a brighter note I attended my dentist which resulted in a large sized filling being removed and replaced and a scale and polish, at least I know I can survive the drilling in my mouth which seemed to take longer than what I can remember all in all it went well just the down side of 3 injections to numb the area which resulted in a numb face on left side for a few hours , at least Iv ticked that of my to do list that was a worry that’s been settled , mostly due to the thought of the noise , drilling and that suction pipe thing , initially headway was brilliant and provided me with a template letter to give to my dentist just outlining the encephalitis and the possibility of sensitivity which was a great help rather than trying to verbally explain it

Sadly even with a good recovery, noisy packed restaurants are a no no. We either go at lunch time with daylight or early evening now. Still nice to go out though! Well done on dentist. I put it off for 18 months. 😊

Hi there,

Sorry to hear the restaurant venture didn't go as well as expected but everything's a learning experience!

Successful dentist trip though which is great and I know the feeling of ticking something off you're to-do list... it's a fantastic feeling!
