Delayed texting response with girlfriend who has dyslexia

Hello everyone, my girlfriend has dyslexia and will sometimes take 24+ hours to respond to me, has apologized for not texting more and recently said my messages were smothering her so I only text her when she texts me, typically one brief convo a day before she stops for another day, I was wondering if this could possibly be due to her dyslexia or more so that she's just not a big texter? I ask this as I want to better communicate with her she is really independent and doesn't talk about her dyslexia so I won't press her on it.

I'm not sure I can answer your question, but I have dyslexia and I really avoid texting (mostly because I'm not a big fan). I don't keep up with my texts, and my friends have learned to email me, not text me. Again, I know I didn't answer your question, but sometimes it helps to know someone else feels the same way as your friend.

I'm known for being terrible with responding to texts (im dyslexic) but I don't think that has to do with it.... Some people like me just look at texts and forget to respond. Dont read to much into it, but it was really sweet of you to look into it.

I would honestly say try to call her maybe once every day or two rather than texting. Only text when u need to.
