What are the most common myths you have heard about diabetes?

Told its all down to your diet and also you can reverse it.
It is possible to put type 2 diabetes into remission if the right steps are taken to control diet and exercise, but this is not always the case with everyone. It also may not necessarily 'reverse' diabetes, since it could come back in the future, but some people successfully stop taking medication if the remission lasts and they're advised by their doctor.
Sadly for type 1 diabetes, it can't be reversed by diet or exercise, only controlled, until we find a breakthrough in research in the future!

I'm type 1 and despite having a Libre and being active, my sugar levels don't always make sense either. The 'Dawn Phenomenon' as you describe could be caused by an intake of carbohydrates before bed, or it could be where the body releases hormones that affect your levels. Either way, it's best you talk about it with a GP who may be able to adjust your medication or give accurate advice on how to deal with the spikes.
