How do you get the numbers to go back down when this happens?

I drink more water and try to exercise. I will test my glucose again later and if it hasn’t dropped much I take my gliclazide tablet.

How many times a day do you take Gliclazide?

Based on my prescription, I take 30mg before breakfast and 60mg before dinner. Usually, I try to delay breakfast therefore I don’t take the glicazide first thing in the morning.

My morning numbers can easily be in the high 100s or even up to mid 200s and I try to bring them down by exercising and making sure I’m hydrated.

What time do you eat breakfast and what Is It? Same for each morning?

I'd say any/all of the above and shortness of breath, abdominal pain, and ultimately, coma.

Thank you for letting me know this about the abdominal pain. Is It like cramps from hot temperatures/dehydration?

Tingling tongue, tingling fingers, then will get headache & go a bit dizzy (more like having an anaphylactic reaction) .

Do the finger tips tingle, or the entire finger/hands?

Just the fingertips then the lips & then the tongue - but this only happens when I get extremely low - less than 1.9 which usually happens if I've been out doing too much in the garden & won't stop because I won't work up the energy to go back out

Sorry forgot to say that my fridge is well stocked with coke, orange juice, sandwich, chocolate & mini biscuits

That's good to know for when (and if) you will be having lows.
