I take long walks outdoors or use the treadmill , lift weights, hand grips and pushups. I mix up what exercise I do everyday so not to tire out my muscles (my age is 69)
Sounds good! Do you do these even on weekends?
Weather permitting I take walks with my wife. During the week she works and I am retired. I had a lot of surgeries in my life time (71) and my industry went off shore and I just got very weak with all the international travel.
Weather permitting, I try to go outside, but if it's extremely too hot or thunder and lightning are predicted, I stay indoors and keep walking around my Senior Center where I work Monday through Friday each week (I'm going to be off for the next two weeks for cleaning and repairs).
That's great!
Couldn't vote for this as "exercise" was not listed.
walking, running, gym, golf, fresh air. Activity helps not only to bring the weight down and keep it down but also to balance the mind.
Play squash, swim and walking till my knees give out
I try for between 1 and 2 hours each day. Golf is as long as it takes and cycle Xan be up to 4 hours. Being retired helps.
No dog, no garden but i go cycling. It's non weight bearing which gels with my other issues (fibromyalgia and 2 duff knees)
I walk 3-5 miles a day some time with my Chesapeake Bay Ret. who weights more than I do at 100 lbs, I need to be careful walking my dog he loves everyone and is strong. Love to garden, read and PIN recipes on the computer. I'm retired w/disability I also have seizures. I can not venture far from home alone, we have a weight room in the basement and have a bike built for 2 I enjoy. My husband now works from home same company so he can over see me. Great joy.
How long do you use the stationary bike for each time? I have a stationary bike here at the house, but I can use it for one hour each day I have the chance.
