Is there any food or drink or over the counter medicine I can take to lessen/curb my alcohol cravings? Thanks.

I found this link. You will get sugar cravings. I would give into them early days. Do and eat whatever you fancy at the moment. Dark chocolate will help. Green and black coco made with milk helps me. Vitamin B and yoghurt like Kefir will help your system start to repair. I enjoy red grape juice. Alcohol free alternatives are helpful for some and a trigger for others so steer clear for now. Herbal teas or just decaf tea in the evening can help. Distraction and avoidance of triggers essential.

Candy (sugar) is a good substitute, Bill and Bob used it on early members. But we have to watch how much we take, because we dont want to get addicted to other substance!
