Aphasia It's still me
Thanks for this, Gail but I think like others have said before that the posting of YouTube links is simply putting off folk. Compare this thread with, e.g., the AF one where there’s active and pertinent information and discussion.
I think it’s different for GailRichardson as she “ has” aphasia and has trouble communicating herself. This may be the way she can convey what she is trying to say on an easier platform, Cindy
My apologies, I should know better especially as I had post stroke aphasia.
Best wishes and hope that everything that you lost, will again return.
Keep texting,practice makes perfect.
IT is for me..
I apologised above, Gail and with humility and embarrassment. I had the numerous You Tube links in my mind and I should have realised especially with having had aphasia myself. I have much empathy with you. Keep on going as it can and does improve x
Thank you NickiC - this aphasia is horrible this some people don't realise what is
'You are the same person inside, yet somehow different. A prisoner in your own head. You can’t express your thoughts and ideas clearly, yet you are still intelligent. What’s worse, you can’t even talk about this loss with those you love. You feel sad. You feel alone. You become depressed.'
I loved to writing and talking... laughing and friends ...... my life is changed
