The NKF Helpline provide the buddy service by putting people in touch with other "buddies" who may have experienced similar situations and are happy to talk to other people and the media. If you would like to become a "buddy" for the NKF Helpline then please send an email to help2@kidney.org.uk and request a register of contacts form.

We look forward to hearing from you all !

Hi, My husband is 70 with end stage renal failure, has been on CAPD for a couple of months now and is well settled. We're both professionals by training and are happy to be contacted by anyone considering CAPD as an option or worried about how they'll cope with it. I'm particularly happy to be contacted by a partner worried about the impact on them and on the rest of the family/home.
