your hba1c is very high .it is high time you consulted a diabetologist and have treatment.
No. It is acceptable to have HbA1c below 6.0. Good, very good control.Keep it up and monitor as a routine.
hba1c under 6.5 itself good , before reporting we should have clear picture.
Hb1ca at 5.9 is very good.Below 6 is a non-diabetic condition.But check ur blood sugar every month.
Please do not judge Diabetes with just one FBG / PPBG reading. Wait for at least 3 results with 15 days between each testing. HbA1c shows only average (for 90 days) of random sugar and definitely not fasting sugar.
Your levels are good Please check yourself through net and get convinced.
In our part of the world HBA1C of 6.4% is upper limit of normal. Reducing carbohydrates and increasing healthy fats and fibers should help you keep average blood sugar
in safe zone.
Often Homeopathy may have been falsely credited with helping blood sugar management. There isn't a single scientific study that proves homeopathy has contributed to controlling diabetes! By scientific study I mean blind studies including placebo. [I have brought down average blood sugar from > 285 in beginning of 2014 to < 140 now. You'd agree if I would have taken any medicine, homeopathic or allopathic, the drug would have got false credit!]
The Diabetic Center Lab I use considers up to 6.4% normal. The UK site I have copy pasted suggests up to 6.0% as non diabetic. In the US 5.7% - 6.4% is IGT/Pre. Medline India follows the US values..
