Refer the blog of Vishnudas , who has rightly suggested you to consult your Doctor and ask him to prescribe you Generic Medicine , with same property and at lower cost . Do not take in use of any medicine , by advice of any body other than your Doctor , who is well competent to handle your case , confidently , as he knows your diabatic history.

I think Generic Medicine or in alternate , substitute medicine of other different company with same composition , will reduce your expenditure factor on medication.
