up to what extent physical exercise control sugar level of a type 2 diabetic?what type of exercise need to and how long one should do it?

diabetic for last 10 yrs,167cm,72Kg,53yrs,106 after1and half hours

Rigorous Walking/Jogging for 30 minutes a day would do wonders...when i say walking, it means, you should sweat properly. Many a times people walk at their own pace...which would not benefilt

Exercise is must for all diabetic patients. However, consult your doctor before starting any specific exercise. Walking is best. Duration, speed will vary from individual to individual. Always carry some sweet for sudden drop in sugar level, while doing any exercise. Simple form of Yoga or Tai Chi under the supervision of trained instructor can also help keeping diabetes under control.
