What will be the impacts if the diabetes is more than a decade for a person who have crossed 60 years of age and suggested precautions ?

Also I keep forgetting names etc. Is is because of diabetes or age or due to long medication ?

I am 72 yrs. diabetic for 20 yrs. I am forgetting the names of the near relatives. It is common with diabetis and aslo old age.

This is common among senior citizens.The neurons that are acting as memory cards,die one by one with age and this result in mis quoting words, finding it difficult to remember,blubber, extended sleep I am too 72 was prescribed Nootropil800 and Rosiglitazone.The problem is reduced but not gone. That is why I am diverting my attention in PC browsing and reading news papers, writing lettres to paper editors( even if they are not published) and such other brain works.As off to day I am unable to prove theorems of maths and unable to grasp to day's children's lessons particularly maths and chemistry even that of 7th standard child. Get your brain developed by constantly doing some brain work.Also consult your neurologist to for relief medicines.
