Madhuparni Vanaspati

How effective is "Madhuparni Vanaspati " leaves in controlling blood sugar? Has anybody tried this?

This question was first posed a year ago by the same poster who apparently is still puzzled.

What an alternative sweetener (Stevia) has to do with controlling diabetes is beyond me.

It certainly is not a 'treatment' any more than acupuncture is (also posed by this person).

Thank you Mr Mike for your prompt reply.

I am puzzled because I have watched a TV program in which the Doctor (Ayrvedic) claimed that he had treated many diabetic people with the help of "Madhuparni Leaves" to reduce/ stop their alopathic medicines. Not only that but these people now eat normal diet including rice and sweets.
