Please do not drop medication abruptly. First tell us what you call it low blood sugar?. Low means what range? What is your fasting , 1 hour pp and 2 hour pp reading?

i am new just for reference purpose i'm making a comment Stop Eating in between snacks we do this mistake very often so called baked " Chips" , i dunno if anyone eaten Fun Flips and Lite Snacks today i saw it has 72g Carbs 100g Serving and No cholesterol Food ( all processed food ) i been eating them for more then decade thinking they won't harm my health but they do , Stop using Sugar no matter what anyone says even on insulin ! . well eating has a very important role to pay in BG and no one formula can apply to all but remember exercise and right food at right times would help to an extent , if you Google it you find People who are insulin dependent type 1 unlike us are easily maintaining good BG levels of course meds and insulin too play a role but aim is to make things easier for them to work effectively , looking at your readings i only can guess you need to work on your diet a lot coz the problem with Insulin taking people they tend to get lil careless about eating since doc always increase the dose once they complaint about high readings ( can't blame them completely also ) if we choose to ignore health and eat what we feel like then it becomes very difficult for anyone to control this complex problem and one more thing as all have mentioned PLZ Don't stop meds on Your own .

1 . Please see what you eat see the pattern for whole week get those readings before food and after keep a record more or less this would be your food habit on a normal days see what increasing your BG levels ? under eating or overeating both be a problem so Effective eating is Important ( Low Carb ) Google the food and its Carb contains what you been eating .

2 . Physical activity is paramount not only for BG but for overall health , since i've no Idea about Age or Weight or anything more so i assume you can take some time for your exercise its must even those on insulin exercise regularly rejuvenate beta cells in body which increase the effectiveness of insulin in body .

3 Get a Good Doc and Dietitian make a diet chart its not difficult initially will take some time and boring too but once u follow it and you get your reading normal with minimum dosages it will cheer you and automatically u keep trying to maintain it ..

well hope you be active here in this forum :)

Bs levels vary from time to time according to the food taken. It is wrong to stop medicines just because your bs dropped low once. All you need is to adjust the dosage of medicine accordingly.

Its not a big matter generally it happen most of time when suddenly you leave medicine it rises. After counseling with doctor you should start medicine .if you want not use much medicine then try to use some acupressure related products may help you.

You are on too many drugs and still diabetes is not in control. You must be on conventional high carb low fat diet. Which is the primary reason why your diabetes has started to show some complications.

Without reducing carbs it is impossible to lower your BS levels. But while cutting on carbs you will need to closely monitor your BS levels as you are on insulin and insulin inducing drug.

Best if you switch to LCHF diet. Search on this forum for LCHF diet. Also visit

dietdoctor.com/lchf

All your problems will reduce as you progress with diet even your weight, drugs will also reduce.

Most of us are amateurs. So do not depend upon our advice fully.

Do not be afraid of insulin. After some time, tablets stop having an effect.

Diabetes is a complicated ailment. Only a diabetologist who deals only with diabetes is competent to deal with this. A general practitioner even a MD is not able to keep track of new therapies. Purchase a glucometer and go to the doctor with all readings and exact diet taken. BBF, ABF,BL, AL, BD, AD and at 3 AM perhaps. Then only he will be able to help you. Else your Rs 900/- gone.
