Dibetic for last 29 years. Now on insuline.I like to know when we use LWMmethod what one can eat between Break fast &Lunch ,Lunch&dinner
I take couple of Chappthais with little chicken curry and a cup full of salads by half past eight as breakfast and then lunch by 1 p.m.. Still the blood sugar goes down by half past eleven. On doctors advise I take a cupful of cooked kidney beans by 11 to maintain the sugar status. Hope you will get some idea out of it.
If you are on insulin, you should be more worried about reduction in your insulin intake rather eating almonds!. Reduce intake of carbs in your diet.
If you use the appropriate quantity of LW for breakfast nobody will feel hungry till lunch. If you feel hungry, take LWM or the items suggested in my web article at item 3 of appropedia.org/Diabetes_mel... mode of operation
I feel I have every right to share my experience with others. One can't allow the sugar status to go below 50 at any time irrespective of other conditions. Prevention is better than cure.
Dear Mr. Shooter George,
My personal doctor who is a P.G. with vast experience advised me that I should never allow blood sugar to go down to anything beyond a certain level . He himself asked me to split the breakfast and consume the 2nd part after couple of hours. Moreover I am indulged in your Long Wheat mash only for dinner and has found it effective. For the rest of the diet I follow medfree and manage with limited carbs. Please don't overshoot.
After few years you become your own doctor and decide anything yourself on Life style diseases like diabetes. I can assure that, after my 74 years of life and has been a diabetic for the last 24 years. I am still active and used to walk 5 kilometers a day as well as drive few hundreds of miles without help. So it is only a question of management without going into too many compromises. Of course one should be aware of what happens. In that context "health unlocked' is helpful.
Wynadji, you are correct.I controlled diabetes for six to seven years without medicine. From there onwards for 18 years only with ayurvedic medicine.Only for last 2 years with allopathic medicine.
