take it as an ailment.I am an theater actor and recently performed while my sugar level was more than 500.So cheer up frnds..be happy relaxed eat well and by the way I am sixty and don't u think life starts after sixty!!!!!

Any one can see that you are quite a cheerful person and also spreading cheers all round..But your sugar levels are nothing to be cheerful about.Diabetic symptoms and complications are not always obvious and therefore you should consult a good diabetologist at the earliest and control your sugar levels within acceptable levels.Diet control,regular exercise,stress free lifestyle and medication when necessary are all essential to manage diabetes.You have a long way to go but cheers all the way. Sorry,if I was a bit blunt.

yes I have started 15 units of Bedtime insulin and also amryl 3 mg twice. there are certain days in ur life wen u tend to become emotional and may b this was that phase for me. I am sure my sugar leverl be back to atleast to 200 within days. Thanks for the concern ....and by the way u were not at all blunt Take care and keep smiling.

There was one of my friend , always doubted he is in some grave health problem and visited each and every doctors of every discipline Alopathic, Ayurvedic, Homeopathic and duplicatate half doctors, consulted about his symptoms, weakness etc. spent lot of money over, with each doctors..once he told me 'Sugar in Blood? You are finished'. It was in early 2000's. Few years back he met with an accident early morning, a truck made a hit and run over his body. Poor chap, he is no more now. No diseases killed him. Diabetics, Leprosy , TB, AIDS or Cancer need not kill people. But a vicious, ruthless lash of tounge, Harsh words on weak minded person, or a news of death of close friend,son,wife or mother can kill.

What Venkataramana told is right. Underlying problems of diabetes will not be visible always; but left in-attended, it will have its say on your life. Diabetes is considered Progressive, Degenerative & incurable. Careless life or cheerful attitude cannot handle it. I have a different experience. I claim that my diabetes is cured, based on test results given at
