one day i watched a TV program in which one doctor from Ernakulm City told that DIABETICS are 100% curable by operation. Is it true or not?

Given the remarkable rate of diabetes remission with bariatric surgery, there is considerable interest in offering this intervention to type 2 diabetes patients with a BMI of <35 kg/m2. Until high-quality, controlled trials are completed, appropriateness criteria (based on age, BMI, and the severity of eight obesity-related comorbidities) may be used to guide the careful selection of diabetes patients who may potentially benefit from bariatric surgery.

Bariatric surgery can prevent type2 diabetes.

Pancreas transplantation can cure type 1 diabetes. But at present, this operation is done along with kidney transplantation.

The doctor from the Ernakulam city may be a specialist in bariatric surgery. Overweight or obesity causes type 2 diabetes.

Yes. It is also true that sugar levels can be kept in control by diet or herbal remedies also. When sugar levels are within normal parameters, it is equal to being cured. Right?:) Diabetics are optimistic people and will do all that they can. Best wishes and Regards

NO...NO...NO

Only possible if PANCREAS Transplantation is done.... still a far cry.

Rest all only to take out money from your pocket.

Do Yogic exercise, brisk walking , control your diet, and take medicines..

Beware

Since diabetes is NOT A decease, it is a disorder of body, it cannot be cured by operation or any other means ; it can just be very well controlled by observing precautions

Does not seem believable. No where in the word (mainly Western medical science) there is no mention of Diabetes being curable by surgery. Lot of research is going on, but surgery as an option has never been mentioned in any of the research findings.
