i am 70. having diabetic since 8 years.it is within control by taking tab one zoril-M1 daily. Can it be controlled without medicine?

i am diabetic since 1997. Now I am 62. My blood sugar level (Fasting) fluctuates between 180--260. I am taking Glykind M twice and Januvet(50-500I.
