I’m kind of concerned as It’s been nearly 2 months since I had one of my teeth removed it was a larger one on the back of my mouth and it felt like a difficult removal... my gum hasn’t closed over where the extraction was and I don’t know if that’s normal for a larger tooth at the back...

Hi there I had teeth removed last year. Like you I had one that was difficult to heal because it was quite deep and the dentist had difficulty getting it out. As long as its not infected you shouldn't need to worry. It sometimes takes that time or more for healing. At 2 months I felt concerned it wasn't healing but eventually it did. Certainly after 4 months it was much better and not causing any discomfort like it had been doing in the early stages.

Honestly thank you for putting my mind at rest as it’s my first removal and I was concerned that it wasn’t healing as fast as it should be

I also kept to a pretty healthy diet and took echinacea regularly. Not saying you have to but it seemed to help me. Best of luck
