Braces on chipped tooth

Hello, My sister fell off the stairs recently and chipped her front tooth and she was about to get her braces fixed and suddenly this happened. She is really sad because she feels that her doc wouldn't be able to fix the metal braces on her teeth as a large part of it is gone now. I did console her and told her that she would be okay because the dentist would know what to do. I don't know what else to say. She has an appointment coming up next week, to place her braces at a dental clinic in Houston ( shorttermbraces.com/service... ). My sister had never been this brooding. Hopefully, things will change once she meets her dentist. Has anybody had such similar experiences? If so, please feel free to tell me about it because I want to help my sister as much as I can and be supportive as well. Thanks!

Hi Knox541. She might be able to have the chip filled in with a dental bonding product. It depends on the location and size of the chip. By now she's probably been to her orthodontist. How did it go?
