Wisdom tooth

My upper wisdom tooth has come in the wrong way it has cut threw the bottom gum but also the top gum and now the lower gum right under my wisdom tooth has now got sore and very soft any ideas what has happened to my tooth

I too had a funny wisdom tooth. It had grown horizontally instead of vertically. My dentist advised me to get it removed. He was quite happy after the surgery as he had to apply best of his talent to remove it.

When I asked him why my wisdom tooth grew that way. He said don't worry about that. Just think that bad wisdom has left you.

I guess most people who have wisdom tooth problem just go ahead and get rid of it asap otherwise it will affect other tooth also.
