I’ve been suffering from hearing loss for a long time now. I am a truck driver. I move around a lot. So, I want a hearing aid that is hard to lose.
I know there are different types of hearing aids. I want something, not easily noticeable. I think CIC or ITC will be a perfect fit for me.
I heard, there are hearing aid specialists who offer Bluetooth hearing aids- hearingsolutions.ca/locatio... . But, I am not sure about their cost and quality. Also, I’d like to know the working process of the same. Does that mean I’ll able to go hands-free?
I am not able to make a decision. Do you think I should go for Bluetooth enabled hearing aids or is there any other style that is suitable for my needs? Please leave your suggestions.

I think you are in Canada so not at all sure what is available there. In the UK unless you want to/can pay for private hearing aids the NHS don’t offer in the ear aids as far as I am aware. My NHS aids can be used with a streamer (I wouldn’t be without it to be honest). Aids like the Oticon Opn which will connect wirelessly without a streamer are pretty expensive I think.
I love the streamer - my aids were free on the NHS but I had to buy the streamer myself. It effectively turns my aids into wireless headphones for TV, Mobile and landline - yes hands free. The streamer has to be worn round your neck but can be under your shirt or whatever so is not conspicuous.
Hope someone else can give you their experience of in the ear aids and Bluetooth aids - I would be interested in hearing first hand experiences!
Living inCanada, well you have a massive choice, obviously all hearing aids are subject to a hearing check , one word of advice, if you make wax, DO NOT HAVE AIDS that go directly in the ear, they will forever be blocked with wax, but small aids today can be connected to devices, what are the best, I’m a iPhone fan so I would look at ReSound, Oticon and Bernafon if you have Andriod, Phonak or Unitron...Unitron is a Canadian Company making quality aids...cost wise UK you can look at from £1200 pair they can all be connected to phone apps for maximum control
Try Oticon S1. Do what they say on tin...phone app is limited but ok....GN Resound Quattro 9 another great aid, really comprehensive App...both for iPhone....Phonak Marvel good for Android, all aids stream, massive choice it’s what you like
