Tiopronin and Stretchy skin?

Any one else on here who has ever taken or is still on Tiopronin had issues with it stretching your skin? I started taking it back in 2007 and came off it in 2014 due to it giving me some bad side affects (mainly mood swings and depression). Noticed ever since I started on it that my skin went really stretchy which is annoying! Would be nice to here from others who have used this drug.

Hi Mike I have been on Tiopronin for along time now and I haven’t experienced stretchy skin. Sorry I couldn’t help x

I’m allergic to penicilllimine so I find it ok apart from the sulphite smell in my urine.

Yes I have noticed it ! I came off it because mainly because of that ! I went vegan for a year and then just watched my diet although now back to normal but always home made food and have been stone free for 2 years

Yeah same! My skin has been like it since and it’s really annoying! Home made everything is the key I think! Really seems to be doing the trick!
