Research, i was diagnosed with PD 3 years ago, i have been taking drugs as prescribed everything is ok. But i have been thinking about latest research can anybody tell me where to look to see whats going on?

Just google and put in latest Parkinson's Disease Research.

ok - here's my approach. Find a charity or organisation that you believe in. Try to raise as much money as you can and use this organisations information. There's so much out there its difficult to take it all in. And - if you can - exercise - Its making a huge difference for me

OK, try the Parkinson's UK web site and look on the research pages. There is a lot going on in South Wales as well as national studies which will come to a hospital near you. You can follow the links and become something called a member of the Research Supporters Network (RSN)and will get regular up dates sent directly to you.

It has been shown that patients and clinicians who have a research interest are more on the ball and that treatment is better. Ask your PD nurse and consultant to tell you about the latest research opportunities available to you.

Also look at the Dendron website for their links to Parkinson's research.

Hope you find something of interest, I know we have in this house.
