Hi Paul,

I think you'll find what it is that prompted my question on the home page and/or the Directory page. I believe it is designed to help determine who is from your area. My Question stems fromm the fact that I live in a small town in a sparsely populated area and am wondering ones" area is determined by geography or population.

hope this helps!

Ah, yes. Thank you for explaining.

I live in a city with about 120,000, and about 250,000 in the region (north central Colorado). Both "Find people near me" and "In my area" return nothing. I don't know what the membership of this site is, but still find that disappointing, (I hadn't noticed that "In my area" button before.)

If there isn't one already, maybe I'll start a discussion with the focused purpose of finding what the physical distribution is. Maybe I'll set up a google map, so people can participate without being too precise about where they live. And so they can quickly see what the distribution is without having thru (dozens or hundreds if test postings.)

Paul has kindly organised a locator map for members. Instructions are on the Question "Where is Everybody" which can be found by doing a search using any of the following words : - community, location, map.
