does anyone know the difference of effects between 50-200 carbidopa -levoer and 25-250carbidopa -levodopa

I take the 50/200 at bedtime to promote sleep and the 25/100 daytime to promote me

i have a hard time staying awake in the mornings

Is the 50/200 sinimet CR (controlled release). If it is it will take longer to work and last longer. But really it is how you experience it. You need an explanation and monitoring by your health professional. Suggest you record after each medication how long it takes to have an effect and how long itlasts so you can see patterns. All the best.

Hikoi gives good advice. Long acting Sinimet will release the l-dopa/c-dopa into your system much slower than the regular. But more importantly, the drug acts differently in all of us and keeping a record of not only time and dosage, but what and when you last ate. Some foods, like protein, can make it difficult for your body to absorb the drug.
