What's the Benefit .......?

Dear Mister Prime Minister,

I hope you are well, because I'm certainly not. Out here in the real world we're not just looking to the next election, we are looking at our mere existence living one day at a time.

I served government and Her Majesty for 25 years but now I have problems that I can't fix by sending in a gunboat. A form that is so difficult to fill in, with questions devised by some alien from the far end of the universe who has never met a human. A form that is so bazar it asks questions about things that need not actually be true, typical government/civil servant verbal nonsense empty words from empty people.

Governments of ALL colours and flavours have tinkered with the system and made a right pigs ear of it, it is no good changing any system and have the same people running it put them on the street which is were some of us will end up just because the DLA form is so difficult to fill in we can no longer afford to work and I'm working to go to work.

Sorry about the rant gentle people, take care of yourselves and if you happen to be in the Cotswold area on the 22 Sep let me know, we are going for a little country stroll.

Anthony,

NEVER FILL IN A FORM BY YOURSELF.

Use the voluntary support system to ensure you have (preferably) qualified help in completing forms P..UK, PD nurse, social worker, CAB. If the form is from the DWP ask for someone from the department to help you. They are very quick at spotting shirkers & I have found them really helpful once they realise the case is genuine. ALWAYS get your form co-signed & dated. It works for me............of course it begs the question as to whether the 'benefits' are worth the effort.

This is good advice! Here in the U.S. it's like pulling teeth to get what should be freely given, seeing as how I've been paying all my working life!

I would like any leader of any govt., legislative branch, medical care group to walk in any of our shoes for just one week. What a difference that "lightblulb" moment might make for them. Unless their hearts are truly made of stone,
