in scotland its raining again, my gardens are like jungles. least its not cold, yet

we have not had a dry day in weeks so my grass is about knee high as for weeds if there was a prize for growing them id win. there is also an influx of spiders.

never mind i love living in scotland its beautiful even in the rain.

Sounds beautiful! Our summer was hot and dry--gardens took a beating--but the yard looks a bit better after today. As for me-I'm wrecked!

its a dry day here in bonnie scotland, ok its 8am it could change, all being well the garden will be done today, i have heathers in my front garden and they have gone mad, but really pretty in purple and white. the weeds between the gravel is amazing. but well worth the effort when done, thankfully its small back and front gardens so couple of hours keeps it under control weather permitting.

beautiful day in NYC today can't wait to go out with my walker. Yesterday caught in the drenching rain so it took me a long time to fall asleep as knees were groaning!!

I feel for my midwest friends--where my mom lives in SE Missouri no rain for months, gardens died, crops, over 100 for weeks on end. She's 92 . Hope it cools off soon so I can visit.

it's going to be hardest on the ones who already have it hard-- the impact of the drought was the last thing our economy needed
