Yes I believe I have. I felt shaky, slow, sick. I lay down and it passed off but it took a while. I remained calm as I went through my med notes for the day and understood what had happened. I made a note not to do that particular combo again.

Anyone with dyskenisia's is, I believe, effectively over medicated ie over dosed......so that would be most of us then!

yes, I believe this to be so also. If possible I get up and walk around, even in a meeting. Or dance if I'm at home. If not possible, like on bus, I might explain why I'm doing the one legged cancan. The telling point for me was after hernia surgery, after almost two days of no meds, I had NO PAIN!!! Of course, I could not stand on my own two feet! But as I added back, pain returned :(

Hi,Sometimes I will forget if I took my pill or not and take another one before the fun start, Also If I take my pills and don't eat. There's nothing to absorb some of the sinement and it to much,Jumpy, feel sick.anxienty,I been taking sinement for almost 12 years now and miraplex for bridge in between my every twohour dosages,Lips move alot sucking on them, really hate that.Every visit.Neuro doctor, says think about Dbs,I have a great responce to seniment,on periods in the 2 hour, you would never know I have parkinsons,But meds are starting to turn on me.

I have not heard of overdosing on levadopa but I have had my CR Sinement(Levadopa is generic form) kick my system in to high gear after accidentally taking an extra dose, heart races and you can feel how sped up your system is. TERRIABLE FEELING, I now time my dosages by the alarm set on my cell phone.

I take Azilect 1mg and Mirapexin 2.62mg both as slow release , round 6 in the morning and 5 Stalevo through the day, but i find 10 in the morning freezing again& very shaky. Any ideas for the time of day , should they be taken at different times

I'm more off than on. 25/100 Sinemet 2ea every 3 hours with. 25 mg Roperinol TID. They last 2 1/2 hrs and then start jerking, especially my legs. My Gludious Maximus muscles cramp, I can't walk. I sure can dance when I lose my balance. I squatted down, tipped backwards and did a complete somersault. I find myself in interesting predicaments...freezing is always interesting. I hope they find a new treatment soon. I'm tired of being tired. Laying down helps when I'm off, Ihad to lay down on a bench at Walmart ..I couldn't stand up anymore. No One came up to me . They curved around me and went on walking, staring as they went. I don't go shopping anymore.

I don't know if a person can OD on sinemet.. I wonder if it would work? it sure doesn't seem to do anything. I've taken combinations of different drugs and I think you can get into trouble mixing drugs. Side effects of the medications you take could be the cause of the symptons one experiences. Medicine is some wicked chemicals..read the literature that comes with your medication.

I take similar meds like you. 1 Azilect 1mg in morning with 1 Stalevo 100, 1 mirapex .25mg and 1 Amantadine 100mg. I too was off more than on. So the doctor added sinemet to each dose of Stalevo I take (6 per day every three hours) I too found that after my first dosing of meds @ about 5:30-6:00am, I begin to go off by 8:30-9 o'clock so I pop another Stalevo (2nd dose of meds for the day) and then by 11:30 I'm back on and taking the Stalevo, mirapex and Amantadine. I believe what I eat for breakfast and the kind of night sleep I had play a major role in my off periods the next day. I also think it's necessary for young women with PD to pay attention to where they are in their hormonal cycle. There's weeks in my cycle that the meds and DBS can't penetrate the hormones to treat the symptoms from Parkinson's disease.

hi- i take sinemet 25/100 reg up 2 -10xd. and sometime im so hyped up i have 2 stop and sit down, have a glass of water and say 2 myself,"self slow down b4 u fall down". i feel like im on speed. i usually eat something also and that seems to help. But i have wearing off sometimes is so unexpected, it feels like someone just pushed me over, from behind. My movement disorder specialist is going 2 try me on with apokyn injections. And also teach my husband to give me a injection if need b. when i wear off sometines, i can't move a muscle. If i try to move it's like i'm glued to the floor. I hope the apokyn works. It wood make my quality of life so much better. i'm only 56. i'll let u all no how it goes!! p.s. i also have a DBS.,2006.
