I have been taking Mirapex ER for about 4 years now. I have had to fight to overcome the desire to on line shop, I manage to get myself into some $7,000.00 of debt but I have not been able to find anything else that helps to control my dyskenesia. I have learned to stop my compulsive shopping and overall am okay with the Mirapex.

thank you, im on mirapixen, i logged online to shop but came to check this site first, im addicted to crafts and making things, was looking to buy beads to make jewellry. which i intend to sell. in the last mth ive made 30 bracelets, fortunatly i have friends with their own businesses who are selling them for me so i should make small profit.

I had to stop Mirapex ER (0.375 mg.) because developed a skin rash. My dermatologist did a skin biopsy and it came back that it was a reaction to a medication. We stopped the Mirapex and it went away! But now my leg cramps are back with a vengeance! that's why I'm up at 2:30 a.m. on here typing this right now! That's my story with this medication!

My partner only takes Mirapexin 1.57mg one at night. The side effects he gets with them is swollen legs, red raw legs and red blisters. When they swell up like that I have to make sure they are well oiled otherwise they dry and crack and open up, that is when he is prone to celluitis.

That certainly seems a lot you are taking!

Are you talking about a clinical study with R(+) Pramipexole? This is not the same as S(-)Pramipexole (Mirapex ER) which is commonly prescribed for relief of Park. symptons. I am taking both. The hope is the R(+) which is cousin to the S(-) but works much differently, will have neuroprotective benefit. It is clinical study phase right now to determine tolerability of escalating doses.

I was on Mirapex before the warning about compulsive behavior. Within a month of starting the medication, I became a gambling addict. I lost everything and was homeless for six years until a doctor told me about the possible compulsivity side effects and took me off it.

I just started Mirapex but cannot afford to take the ER as it is not covered by my insurance.
