Madopar and what I might expect

Ive just started on Madopar 50/12.5, along with 24mg requip xl, is it normal to feel zonked about 2 hrs after dose? How do I manage that & a job!

For over 2 years I felt that way until my meds were changed. Talk to your doctor and see what the two of you can come up with together.

Is requip the same as Ralnea xl (the brand name for Ropinirole?

yes, but just latley my pharmacy has given me Spiroco Ropinirole Hydrochloride, maybe its just a cheaoer version??

I was prescribed Madopar for a time, but I was tired most of the day. the Neurologist then prescribed requip also, but I found after 3rd dose I suddenly felt ill with it.

I am now on Neupro patches with Madopar x 3 daily and feel much better, with more energy

I realise not everything works same with individuals.

but if you can get things stable it helps enormously.
