I am not sure about the pain and Parkinsons, but I have a spinal injury that is a little bit more than sore, but I can usually control it with about half the maximum dose of Tramadol 50mg. And my GP has made sure that the Tramodol is compatible with the Parkinson's meds.

For quite a long time, I also had a pain in the a***, but I am divorcing her, so that will soon be gone.

i had a bad pain in the neck--same cure! haha . Good thing too because he could not deal with my ever being ill. Life was always about him. He once gave me a good trouncing because I almost died. Felt abandoned I guess. Anyway now i'm happy alone, PD and all, and I always know where the remote is. (for the TV) :D

I had a rather severe pain in the neck ...could barely look back over my shoulder.... caused by rigidity in those muscle. Sinemet and yoga helped a lot.

Yes, I get a lot of pain in my neck and upper back, I use a wheat bag which eases it really well.I too get discomfort in my foot which seems to be trying to curl underneath.

From what i have heard on various forums this is usual with Parkinson's.

I used to have a painful arm and shoulder but used a TENS machine to ease it, Worked beautifully,

I don't take tablets for my pain but try to use natural methods instead and so far it is ok.

My husband had painful neck/shoulders for years and years long before he was ever diagnosed . Since he has been on Sinemet that has improved but now he gets sharp pains in his feet and achilles . Generally when he wakes in the morning . Itg's mainly from his posture in ben and cramping . have you tried Amitriptyline

In fact it's why I am now downstairs on my laptop I cannot stick it any longer in bed with him fidgeting and groaning .. Not his fault though Damm Parkinsons fault

I think with Parkinsons you can get pain in just about any muscles which to me often seems to go right into the bones.

I make fun of it. This week a pain in neck, next week a pain in legs, can't wait for the week after. just take it in our stride

Yes, you do. Here a pain, there a pain , everywhere a pain. And my first neurologist tried to tell me PD didn't hurt!

Yes my husband gets lots of neck pain and in his feet too. A client I nurse who has PD recently complained of back and neck pain I referred him to our physio who had some useful tips about positioning in bed etc. worth maybe getting referred.

Very common. I need to stretch everyday plus I can't stay in one position too long. Makes flying a pain.

Boy can you ever have these pains. I am just completing a course for massage as husband never will take pain pills as they make the PD Rx less effective. Was curious if it would work. Now get woken up nearly every night to rub one spot or another. Bad part for me, it relaxes me so much I find myself dozing off during the process.

seven years ago I fired one that said no... best thing I did since DX.

I had crippling foot pain and was first told it was gout! It was in my left foot though which is my predominantly PD side. My left foot has also spread widthways. So with new velcro fastened shoes, ibuprofen, and a stylish walking stick, it is much better.

Pain in the back, apart from never vacuuming, mowing, or ironing again, try sitting down with a heat pad every 15 mins. You have all the time in the world. Relax, take a bath.

Again stress makes me ache, more than anything else.
