What websites, books, publications, Dr's ... - Cure Parkinson's
What websites, books, publications, Dr's research etc.. are you finding beneficial?
I find that a weekly update on all articles about PD from Google the best way to keep in touch
I often use google scholar to research a particular topic.
Try web site Viartis - I find it very comprehensive but accessible.

I am not too trusting in the media or how science is progressing in cures. one hears all sorts on the news or reads in publications new treatments etc. Once publicised and after all the hype they all seem to get forgotten about. Ask the Neurologist about new treatments and you will still get what they consider to be the classical way of treatment. I suppose they call it tried and tested.
Being all individuals and so many differences in our progression of the complaint, I think we have to find our own level of what we believe does good.
I am a believer in many herbal remedies, but in the end research on them has been limited, and remember that drug companies control doctors not unconventional medications.
This is unfortunately the way of the world.
I have found these three books helpful: "What Your Doctor May NOt Tell You About Parkinson's Disease by Jill Marjama-Lyons, MD and The A-Z of Parkinson's DIsease by Anthony D Mosley, MD MS and Deborah S Romaine and The Parkinsons DIsease Treatment Book by J.Erie Ahlskog, MD, Mayo CLinic Parkinson Specialist I hope you will find them helpful too.
