Everyone seems to advise satin sheets and... - Cure Parkinson's
Everyone seems to advise satin sheets and PJs to help with turning over in bed. Can anyone suggest a good place to buy them please?
Dunhelm's for the sheets. Ebay for the pj's. Happy shopping. You can get both on line.
OH MY GOODNESS SATIN SHEET AND SATIN PJ'S...I WOULD TAKE ONE TURN AND SLIDE RIGHT OUT OF BED LOL!!!!!!
Casey, you aren't just" Whistling Dixie"! My first and only experience with silk or satin pj's and satin sheets was a disaster. In addition, my hubby bought us a feather bed. The first attempt to turn over found me flat on my back on the floor. The slipping and sliding was hillarious and luckily I wasn't seriously hurt. Moreover, my new satin sheets, feather bed and lingerie did over rule the seriousness of the moment and we sat there in hysterics. By all means, give it a try - BUT and it's a big BUT, be careful. Good luck
poundstretcher do the satin bedset and primark do the pj s
traditional metal bedstead could be a good anchor point.
m and s for pj's - they are very good quality and i got my sheets on line by searching 'satin sheets' and got a company that do really good deals very cheap, which is ideal for people who are not sure they really need both..if i can find the name i will post

I find that satin pyjamas and cotton shirts are a good combination. Eases turning over without being too slippery. I found some very comfortable pyjamas in Marks and Spencer that need no ironing.
Flannel sheets and flannel sheets trap !
I solved that one easily - I only wear PJs out of bed - nothing in bed. Works a treat!
I bought satin sheets at JC Penney's. I only use the top sheet like a draw sheet and it is enough for hubby to move more freely. Don't wear PJ's at all.
Flannel sheets are warm but were like velcro for him. He couldn't move around at all. If you want a real laugh, try out a Tempurpedic bed. It is foam and you sink in. It took two of us to get him out at the store. While very comfortable it really impedes movement for a Parkie.
Thank you everyone.
I am going to invest in a pair of M & S finest pjs and see how that goes. I don't fancy slipping off the bed!
No PJ's in bed, Doesn't make any difference about the sheets, except I don't think the satin sheets would be good at any time. Turning over and moving around is easy with no PJ's.
