Amputees have phantom pain agonising no less real despite the absence of a limb.Is this remembered pain or do our minds create pain or indeed accumulate pain experiences..Is the amputees pain a combination of emotional state and remembered pain.If my foot hurts but there is no physicàl injury were does my pain experience come from.
