Do any of you wear any type of Medi Alert bracelet or necklace? If so, what does it say? Where do you get them?

I bought a wrist band type with velcro fastening online. It has a small pocket into which a thin card can be inserted, on which I have written next of kin. meds and doctors details. It is advertised as being waterproof but have not tested it. I wanted one which was comfortable and which I could wear all day every day, for nearly any occasion....altho it is maybe a bit casual for use with evening dress!

No but I carry a card I got from my neuro that says "I am not intoxicated, I have Parkinson's" with a lot of info and my ICE (in case of emergency) info.

No, I carry a card in my wallet. But I have thought about the Be Brave braclets. Since finding out about those last year I have seen many people wearing them. I wiould rather it say something other than Be Brave on it -- but my point is the color band you are wearing is recognized or an indication of what you have. I was at the Big South VOlleyball tourny (in Atlanta, Ga ) this past weekend and I saw several people with them on. I dont want to wear an ID med alert braclet YET.
