Yeah, I've tried John Coleman's treatment but it takes 2-3years to see results. The TMJ treatment looks promising, if it works the it is on YouTube. Next week I'm trying a drug called Naltrexone , which is a existing drug for drug addicts to brake their addiction. In low doses, this drug is called a "wonder" drug.

I'm taking John Coleman's class right now. Did you use the drops in the water? I'm doing the Bowen Therapy,in fact I had a treatment today. Did his class help you at all?

I also am very interested in the Low Dose Naltrexone. I researched it on the internet and asked about it on the web site, but no one answered. I asked my doctor to give me a prescription ,but he refused. PLEASE let me know how it works for you. I'm so excited to find someone who is going to try it!

The TMJ treatment looked promising to me too. I'm trying to stay off the heavy duty drugs. I'm on Mirapex and Amandine. If you don''t mind telling me what drugs are you taking?

You can email me on this website if you click on the name maryalice.

too. What ever works for you.

Thank you!

I like John Coleman's treatment of changing your diet and life style, but I didn't like the duration of time it takes to see results. I took the aquas therapy for a little bit, but didn't see results. I also got fraustrated with the bottle that the aquas come in. Explain on request.... Naltrexone, I heard the info on a blog called "parkinson recovery". I think the hosts name is Robert Rodgers. He interviews all types of people that are using new treatments for PD. He puts all the info on his blog and you read up on all the different treatments.

I personally take Sinemet , Requip XL, Azilect.

Please let know how the LDN is working for you. Blessings

Started the LDN on Monday 4/2/12 and nothing that I can feel except my balance seems a little better. other than that, oh well my sleeping is better too. This seems to be a med that will take months to see a difference. I guess the PD damage aint small anyway.....

Do you take Azilect ? I believe that helps with some fatigue and helps the dopamine last longer. Ask your Doctor about it.

selegiline is supposed to work the same way with slowing progression.

I have TMD or TMJ as it is commonly called. I wore a mouth orthotic for over a year. The orthotic alone cost over $600 and that was about 15 years ago. Most people do not have orthotic coverage with their insurance and this may not be affordable. Since it is not proven FDA therapy, I would think all of this would have to be paid for privately. If you consider this type of therapy, look for a Dentist who specializes in TMD. Check his credentials and ask for references.

Did you use the treatment of installing the orthotic apparatus to treat your PD symptoms?

I don't have PD- my husband does.
