Symprove

Wondering if anyone can vouch for this product I understand there's a trial on at the moment

I only took it for 3 days and bizarrely it seemed to cancel out my small levodopa dose. I actually felt great as for the first time since starting levodopa I wasn't nauseous and didn't have my mid morning mild dystonia. Then I realised that I was back to doing my Tin Man impression. I think I'm an outlier as I have heard lots of positive reports. If you are a member of Parkinson's UK you get a discount and beware of getting signed up to repeat orders while you are trialling it if you decide to give it a go.

I took a case of it (about 3 months) last fall and it seemed to be helping my constipation, but not sure if it was the Symprove or twice daily custom prebiotic that I started shortly after I started the Symprove. But the last few weeks on it, constipation returned so I figured it probably was not the answer. Eventually constipation improved while only on prebiotic, but then worsened (I suspect due to starting on clonazepam), so started on Symprove again about a month ago, not really seeing any improvement. I haven't noticed any effect on other symptoms, but never expected any. I can't say I recommend the product, but have had no negative effects.
