gingko biloba

I am taking up a lot space here on the forum in the recent past. Been taking a close look at the details in the Laurie Mischley self reported outcomes reports. I am interested in Gingko Biloba even thought only 19 people had reported on it. Trying to figure out the best version to try. Here where I am I can get some standardised to contain 90% extract and another brand that is standardised to contain 24% gingko flavones. That is my first question and of course always good to know if someone has used gingko biloba in whichever form

Take up as much space as you like. That's what it's for!

Ginko Gold Max. This is the standard formulation.

But I have never used it for Parkinson.

Ginkgo has been on my list of things to try since forever and very interested if anyone has gotten good results.

On laurie mischley's self rating scale gingko biloba ranks highest in supplements in how much the reporters felt it had affected them positively BUT there are only 19 users. Having looked at what it will cost us to buy a decent gingko biloba here I reckon we are going to give it a try.

Yes I have been taking it on and off for years. The dried leaf gives me good results. I follow the recommendations on the bottle. I have been using it for the uncomfortable feeling in my legs accompanied by pain.

You said. " uncomfortable feeling in my legs accompanied by pain..."

I have partial numbness in my left leg. I've had it for years, years before the PD diagnosis. I remember scratching my leg and not feeling anything so I scratched using a key. When my wife walked by I used the key to scratch her leg. She yelped and jumped and screamed, "What the hell...?" which told me the problem was real. Is this a PD sign?

Yes, I have been using Clean Mucuna capsules 1 a day since few months in morning and I feel its better than Sinemet plus, because Mucuna does not give me Dyskinesia, but yes I do take Sinemet plus 12pm , 4pm and 8pm

i began gingko, because of mischly's report, about 3months ago. 300mg bid. am happy with the improved ED effects but otherwise continue using it due to the report. can honestly say i'm unsure of how else it helped cuz i'm still all over the place trying different things (lately - heresy's w/almonds). can say i've improved since last 3 months in all things except 'freezing' (which for me manifests as hesitation, requiring huge effort to push past).
