Well, not exactly... The gloves used by Synergic are based on the Tass specifications and the Tass vCR therapy , but Synergic is not using the actual Stanford Glove in their trials. They have there own version of glove called the VT Touch glove. They have already applied for, and been granted, breakthrough device designation from FDA for their VT Touch glove. You can see from the images in their announcement that the VT Touch glove is a bit different in design compared to the Stanford Glove: synergicmed.com/storage/app...
sort of. synergic originally made the gloves for stanford. there was a falling out. stanford are developing a new glove with a different manufacturer. there are a couple of issues with the synergic glove
First - with the exception of Pat Riddle, they seem to have ver poor results
Second - Stanford have several comprehensive patents in this field, which synergic would breach without consent from stanford
and the trial always seems to extend. it was originally due to complete in the first half of last year
