Can pd exercise which I need a chair to do still qualify as hi intensity work out? hope that question is clear. thanks to those who replied to my previous post.

You need to monitor your pulse rate. You need to know your maximum heart rate. Hi intensity exercise is around 80% of your maximum heart rate. Generally, sprints lasting 30-60 seconds are the goal. The only muscle that can work that hard is the quads. So if you have to be seated I'd look into recumbent bike. Swimming is also possible.

Ciao Arlington7, quello dell’esercizio ad alta intensità è un grande bluff. Forse vorranno farci morire tutti per non pagare più la pensione. Fai quello che riesci a fare ma con costanza e non ti affaticare troppo che non abbiamo più l’età per certe cose. Buon Anno nuovo.

Depending on your upper body ability, something that might help you increase heart rate and can be done sitting, is to use a simple device called a powerspin. It’s provides a good cardio workout as well as toning your arms and abs.

I can’t figure out how to add links but if you search for keywords, such as powerspin, cardio isometric – it should find it for you
