has anyone been on the Neupro patch and felt it made their tremor worse? I have been on it several months and while i feel it helps somethings it doesn’t help my tremor, i really feel it makes it worse (internal and external). Just curious of others experience

I take 4mg Neupro patches along with Sinemet and infusion apomorphine. To be honest, I can't tell what the patch does apart from cause skin irritation. I've decided to drop it when I next see the Neurologist. When I took it in higher doses, it did worsen the tremor if I reduced the dose too quickly but wasn't particularly effective against the tremor itself. Good luck!

I don't have tremor , but found that on increasing to 6mg I felt like a teenager on ecstasy. It increased my dyskinesia, and have incurred a few foot injuries from kicking things over 🫣, so lasted less than a week before cutting back to 4mg. I feel that it increases movement in a different way from levadopa which makes me feel that I can move in a normal fashion. Neupro from the first 2mg dose seems to help with movement in a different way, but it doesn't feel natural. It stimulates dopamine receptors, whereas levadopa replaces dopamine. Perhaps that's why it may increase tremor ?

Yeah i feel like it worsened some symptoms and i gave it a few months. Especially messed with my sleep
