Back sensitivity

My back is very sensitive to touch. I just bought a Honda CRV and I love it except the seat is really uncomfortable.

After 6 months I literally almost cannot drive it because of the seat I plan on trading it in.

I was just wondering does anyone else have sensitivity with their back?

I loved my white CRV!!!! My back aches but not sensitive. Since your back is going to have to come in contact with any seat..a few thoughts. Have you thought of a lumbar support? Would soft fleece or lambswool (fabric store by the 1/2 yard or more) against your skin and then against the seat or support? I found my butt slid back on that seat and did purchase a mesh support to keep me more upright. I just hate to see you trade that 'puppy' in...such a cool and efficient car!💞

I absolutely love the car. It's so easy to drive, and I love the brake hold feature.

The model I have is a sports model. And the bucket seats are so tight they keep you in place. Since driving it and I'll have back spasms leg spasms. The problem is that I can't get away from it touching my back. It even bothers my tailbone. The jeep that I had before did not do that. I love it and I've always a lot of money trading it in but I can't do it anymore.

I better understand now. I didn't have the hottie model with bucket seats...must be gorgeous; not worth the back and leg spasms for sure. Be comfortable. My husband and I once owned a blueberry farm and I drove a Jeep Sahara....loved it. You can't go wrong with a jeep and you can't go wrong with comfort. My best..💞

in the crv there is an adjustable lumbar control, have you tried adjusting the seat?

Yes. It hasn't helped.

The way that car seats are designed is a recipe for back pain. They are angled like an Adorandak chair - lower in the back with your knees raised. My mom uses an angled pillow which she sits on backwards so that the highest part of the cushion is in the back and the lower end is near her knees. So that it makes the seat flat. No more back pain or sciatica pain

I will try that. Thank you 🙏
