Re-sharing some bright light stuff I posted a year ago:
I am not an expert on Bright Light Therapy but it looks useful and I have been trying it for a while. Surprisingly, it may be best to do before bed.
Here is one great article. It is VERY readable: Bright Light Therapy in Parkinson's Disease: An Overview of the Background and Evidence 2012 ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl...
This is the light I use: Lastar Light Therapy Lamp, UV-Free 12000 Lux Max at 12", Sun Lamp with 5 Brightness Levels & 4 Color Temperatures & 6 Timer Functions, 180° Free Rotable Heavy Base Smart Plug Sunlight Lamp for Therapy $56
There is the Celeste Phototherapy clinical trial but the person needs to be able to do appointments on zoom to ask questions of the participant and I think that it is only for those who are on medication like sinemet or similar.
I applied for this trial but there is not a participating doctor in my area. I'd love to hear more about your experience with your self-trial light therapy.
Same here. I looked into it from my husband. It looks very promising but they said that no one was available in our area. They are very responsive on email. Looking back into the device that Bolt posted now that it is available again.
