Article is a systematic review and meta-analysis of Parkinson's disease (PD) progression and its relationship with dopaminergic therapy. It highlights that PD progresses at a rate of approximately 2% per year and that motor progression is faster before starting dopaminergic drugs. The study also emphasizes the importance of accurately measuring motor progression to assess disease-modifying therapies, despite the sequential commencement of dopaminergic drugs and sample attrition over time. Additionally, it discusses the effects of starting dopaminergic treatment and the challenges in conducting long-term observations of motor progression. The review provides valuable insights into the progression of PD and its implications for treatment and research.

I read this with interest, one thing bothered me, they dont say which type of PD drugs or treatment, C/L or inhibitors or so on. I am 6 years in and still med free , tremors dominant, right hand, jaw and minor left hand and would like to start trying meds to alleviate this if possible..74 and doing quite well so dont want to take any risks with drugs , i can cope with the other related, things, constipation occasionally, some stiffness and so on. play golf 3 times a week walking and B1 with a few other supplements. interested in your thoughts
