The levodopa induced freezing of gait (FOG) is definitely one of my most challenging and unpleasant symptoms. Sadly, my PD is not benign and I have always suffered from dyskinesia. So, adjusting my meds is not an option for me, which is why I’m having DBS which I’m hoping will allow me to reduce my meds.

Hi, freezing is my biggest issue too. I have tried alot of diffrent things: med adjustments, excercise, cryothreapy, infared threapy, e stim, nothing seeems to help. My MD SAID DBS doesn't help with these symptoms...I also purchased: electric scooter, w/c, crutches, u-step, rollator walker, again nothing helps me.
