Bee venom: Anyone know what ever happened... - Cure Parkinson's
Bee venom
" This study did not evidence any clear symptomatic or disease-modifying effects of monthly bee venom injections over an 11 month period compared to placebo using a standard bee venom allergy desensitization protocol in Parkinson disease patients. However, bee venom administration appeared safe in non-allergic subjects."
This is something I've been thinking about through serendipitous circumstances. I recently bumped into someone I haven't seen in years, who's new passion is bee keeping. This was soon after reading a news article someone who supposedly cured their Lymes disease by being stung.
He was saying that he wants to make be keeping his profession, specifically the therapeutic use of bees. He shared many anecdotes of people utilising the anti inflammatory nature of bee stings, specifically for arthritis, and general aches and pains; including his own positive experiences.
It's been shown effective in animal studies, but not in humans. I'm guessing they perhaps need a lot more venom. The Lymes disease person was stung by a swarm of angry bees, that have higher concentration of venom.
I've been thinking of giving him a call and giving it a try! 🤣🐝
